CommandWear Overview

CommandWear has three components.

  • Commander: This is a web app that runs in a browser. The Commander app gives an overview of all Communicator locations on a map. It allows the Commander (hence the name) to send commands to individuals. The Commander also has a Review mode where previous events can be replayed.
  • Communicator: This app is used by first responders in the field. It is loaded onto their smartphone (Android only today, iOS in February). The Communicator app tracks first responders, messages to them and allows them to upload pictures and video.
  • CommandWear Pebble and Apple Watch Apps: CommandWear has introduced a Pebble and Apple Watch companion app to Communicator that allows “heads up, hands free” operation.
