CommandWear is a mobile and wearable situational awareness software platform used by police, fire, EMS and security teams around the globe. In direct response to customer feedback, we are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Version 4.0 of our Communicator app for Android smartphones and Android Wear smartwatches.
This is a free update for existing CommandWear Licensed customers and the app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Communicator V3.0 for iPhone and Apple Watch is also available for download from iTunes.
V4.0 adds these new features:
• Enhanced graphical user interface.
• Interactive mobile mapping showing your location and team members near you.
• Dynamic map source selection – choose from ESRI, Google or Open Street maps.
• Message history log including photos and videos sent/received.
• Roster of tracked resources to quickly locate and stay in contact.
• Android Wear (smartwatch) support.
• Improved robustness.
