We’re developing CommandWear with a team that has existing customer contacts in the global security and crisis management industry. We see a developing wave of wearable tech — from heads-up displays, to commodity tablets, to bracelets and sensors of all kinds — coming into the market. The hardware will iterate very quickly, and we intend to specialize in the end-to-end software stack and user experience of select vertical markets.

We have existing customer connections in the first responder and private security markets, have developed a MVP through live field exercises, and are early revenue stage with high profile customers such as the RCMP, San Diego Fire-Rescue and the Singapore Police Force.

We are working out of the Wavefront office in downtown Vancouver and offer the flexibility to work from home. Wavefront is home to a number of great companies: http://www.wavefrontac.com/

Software Developers

Being able to see, to communicate, and to locate, are the foundations of incident management.  CommandWear is delivering a software platform that integrates mobile devices, networks, and applications to enhance situation awareness.  We are passionate about making a difference and helping our customers save lives.

As a result of building such a hands-on product, we aim to understand how our customers use our product in the real world.  Everyone in the company has had the opportunity to participate in field trials with public safety organizations, which has given us great insights into potential new features.

Our team is always on the lookout for the latest in mobile and wearable technology and whether it can (and should) be integrated into our product to benefit first responders.  It’s an exciting field that holds a lot of possibilities – and we want to bring the best solutions to our customers.  CommandWear has won several technology innovations awards including the Digital Innovation Award from the World Information Technology and Service Alliance (http://ow.ly/nFOA304YbqS).
